Terms and Conditions for Prop Hire Bucks

These terms and conditions are entered into by and between the “Hirer” and Prop Hire Bucks.

1. Booking and Confirmation: a. To secure the booking, the Hirer must pay a non-refundable deposit of 20%. b. The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.

2. Rental Period: a. The rental period is for two days. b. Late returns may incur additional charges unless prior arrangements have been made.

3. Rental Fee and Balance Payment: a. The total rental fee will be provided on the invoice. b. The Hirer agrees to pay the balance on or before 6 weeks prior to the rental period.

4. Security Deposit: a. The Hirer shall provide a security deposit of 20% before receiving the props. b. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after the props are returned, provided they are in satisfactory condition.

5. Cancellation: a. In the event of cancellation by the Hirer, the deposit is non-refundable. b. If the cancellation occurs 14 days or more before the start of the rental period, the balance payment will not be required. c. If the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the start of the rental period, the full rental fee is due.

6. Damages and Loss: a. The Hirer is responsible for any damages to or loss of the props during the rental period. b. Prop Hire Bucks will assess damages and deduct repair or replacement costs from the security deposit. c. If damages exceed the security deposit, the Hirer agrees to cover the additional costs.

7. Care and Use of Props: a. The Hirer agrees to use the props only for the purpose stated in the agreement. b. Any alterations or modifications to the props require written consent from the Prop Hire Bucks.

8. Liability: a. The Hirer assumes all liability for injuries or damages resulting from the use of the props during the rental period. b. Prop Hire Bucks is not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by improper use or negligence.
